Parent Info - Parent information

We believe that parents are the first and foremost educators of their children and that the most worthwhile learning occurs when home and preschool staff support and compliment each other.

We use a play based curriculum to develop your child's interests, skills and dispositions. Formal and informal evaluations of your child's learning and progress are shared with you.

A parent information session is offered each term to parents whose children are about to start pre-entry kindergarten.

If your child has a diagnosed disability or significant medical needs please discuss these prior to the information session. Specialist support is provided through the Department of Education & Children's Services (DECD) for children with additional needs; speech pathologist, social worker, psychologist, bilingual support, Aboriginal educator and disability support.

Our Parent Information Booklet below explains in detail the services and programs that we offer at Flagstaff Hill Kindergarten.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to speak with one of our staff.
