Things to Know
Kindy Sessions & Fees
In their year at Flagstaff Hill Kindy, children access 15 hours a week, which is allocated across two days. The Rainbow Lorikeet group attends on Monday and Tuesdays, while the Magpie group attends on Wednesday and Thursdays. During the enrolment process, you will be invited to share your preference of days, however these cannot be guaranteed. Placement will take into consideration staffing ratios, group dynamics and the preferences of other families.

Monday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Tuesday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Magpie/Kurraka Group
Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Fees are $200 per term.​

The Preschool Distance Calculator will help you to identify if we are your local preschool. You are welcome to register interest with our kindy regardless, however enrolment priority is given to families who live within our catchment area.

Transition to Kindy
Two transition visits are offered in the term prior to your child commencing kindy. These sessions are attended by children and their caregiver/s, providing the opportunity for families to become comfortable in our setting, to connect with educators, ask questions and build positive memories together.

Transition visits are usually scheduled on Fridays, with the dates shared with new families a term in advance.

The transition to kindy can be smooth for some children and trickier for others. We will work in partnership with you to personalise our approach during your child's first term with us.

Bushfire Information
Flagstaff Hill Kindergarten is a high risk site for Bushfires. We will be closed on days of catastrophic fire danger. Click here to access the brochure, 'Bushfire and your child's preschool'.
Kindy Uniform
Clothing items featuring our logo are available via EduThreads. Please note, hats are provided in your child's first term of kindy and included in your invoice.
